HOT YOGA 

The heat from a hot yoga class promotes a natural detoxification 
process by allowing sweat to flow, flushing away toxins. 
The Heat allows the body to be more supple. It will 
increase your joint lubrication as well as flexibility 
in your muscles. This Hot Flow Yoga is a one hour 
long Flowing Style Yoga class. 

Class meets on the therapy pool deck. 
Classes will be Sundays at 12:15PM 
Beginning January 6, 2019 Ending March 31, 2019 



NEW CLASS
 
YOGA ON THE ROLL

This 30 minute class incorporates foam rollers and traditional yoga

poses for the purpose of warming stretching muscles and connective

tissue. A unique blend of exercises will help alleviate muscle

soreness, improve flexibility and increase range of motion. The Y

will provide foam rollers for up to 10 participants, but you are

welcome to bring your own if you wish! Please pick up a number card

at the front desk before coming to class.

Classes are Tuesday 7:00pm-7:30pm & Friday 10:30am –11:00am in Studio #1

Yoga
Family Yoga

Same as our regular Yoga classes designed with the youth and their parents in mind. For ages 8 years and older. Class runs through the summer months while school is out of session.

Hot Flow Yoga

Hot flow yoga is a flowing style yoga group class. It is held in our therapy pool area every Sunday through our winter schedule January – April.  This class is done on the therapy pool deck area not in the water. This class can be very intense with the added effect of the heat set @ (89º) in this room.

Yoga Promotes control of the body and mind. Our yoga classes feature strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility components using music to enhance the experience. Many people take Yoga for the sense of well-being and peace it brings.

Indoor Quick Walking
Indoor Quick Walking

This 30 minute class held in our basketball gym promises to give you 30 energetic, fun, fast paced minutes of walking to the beat of motivating music. This class is for every fitness level.

Kettlebell
Kettlebell/Yo

This class uses a cast iron ball with a single handle. You will concentrate on strength and conditioning using your muscles by stabilizing your core. By using the Kettlebell your displacement of weight increases utilization of stabilizing your muscles. You will then work on the mind body and soul aspect of Yoga to increase your flexibility.

Kettlebell

A 30 minute class using a cast iron ball with a single handle. You will concentrate on strength and conditioning using your muscles by stabilizing your core.  By using the Kettlebell your displacement of weight increases utilization of stabilizing your muscles. You must sign up at the front desk in advance for this class. No one under the age of 13 years may participate. Studio #2

Pilates
Pilates

Pelvic stabilization, coordinated breathing, and muscle contractions to promote strengthening. Attention paid to the entire musculoskeletal system.

Pilates Barre Blend

A combination of two of our best core strength classes all wrapped up into one class.

Pilates: Using proper body mechanics, movements, trunal and pelvic stabilization with coordinated breathing.

Barre Blend: Is a combination of the movements you would use in Pilates as well as some yoga and ballet for strength training. Both of these formats help you to gain flexibility, stabilization and muscular strength while you tone the whole body. Studio #2

Tai’ Chi’
Tai Chi

This graceful form of exercise is a moving form of yoga and meditation combined. It involves a series of movements preformed in a slow, focused manner. The benefits of this class include: reduced pain and stiffness, uplifting of the sprit, improved muscle strength and joint flexibility, helps improve balance.
