Kids can play in a fun, safe environment under the supervision of experienced and CPR trained Y staff so Y Members can work out or take a class. KidZone is offered for YMCA Members and Non Members during posted hours of service. At least one parent or guardian of each child must remain on the premises and readily accessible at all times while the child is in KidZone. COVID-19 SAFETY RULES - When Active Under Local/State Mandates
-We encourage you to keep children at home if at all possible, to limit exposure.
-Limit of 90 minutes.
-All children and parents must wash their hands before entering.
-Please have children use the restroom before entering.
-No personal items allowed including but not limited to toys, blankets, backpacks, stuff animals etc.
-Diaper bags will be allowed to be placed in the room at a designated area, and only to be used by parents if an infant needs changed.
Parents can still change infants at the room's changing table, and that table will be sanitized after each use.
-We will be sanitizing toys frequently and deep cleaning the room after each shift.
We are excited to announce our new playgroup for ages 0-3! Starting April 7,2022 join us each Thursday (10 am - 11 am) for our LITTLE EXPLORERS ACTIVE PLAY group where parents, grandparents and/or caregivers can bring their kids to participate in a program sponsored by one of our departments! Activities are led by assigned teachers, as well as, self directed by the child. Creativity is encouraged to help promote individual growth.
Group and individual play. Kid Connect has activities that promote decision making skills, teach responsible behavior, and develop the child’s self confidence.
